Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Atloren LLC collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It covers this website and the products we operate. Atloren LLC is the data controller for that processing and can be reached at legal@atloren.com.

1. Data we collect

Account data such as your name, email address, and password hash. Billing data such as your billing name, address, country, and the last four digits and expiry of your card, which we receive from our payment processor. Content you upload in order to use a product, including images and video where the product processes them. Usage and device data such as pages viewed, feature events, IP address, browser, and operating system. Correspondence you send us through the contact form or by email.

2. Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Card numbers are submitted directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection and are never stored on Atloren systems. Stripe processes that data as an independent controller for fraud prevention and regulatory purposes, and its handling is described in Stripe's own privacy policy.

3. Why we process it

To provide and maintain the services you ask for, which is performance of our contract with you. To take payment and meet tax and accounting obligations, which is a legal obligation. To secure our systems, prevent fraud and abuse, improve our products, and respond to your enquiries, which are our legitimate interests. To send product or marketing email where you have given consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Sharing

We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf: hosting and storage providers, our payment processor, email delivery, and product analytics. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose data where the law requires it, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case we will tell you beforehand.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is open and for up to 12 months after closure. Uploaded content is deleted when you delete it, or within 30 days of account closure. Billing records are kept for seven years to meet tax requirements. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept indefinitely.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for sign-in and security, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the products are used. Where the law requires consent, we ask before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time in your browser or in the product's settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California may request disclosure of the categories of data collected and may opt out of any sale or sharing, which we do not do. Write to legal@atloren.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process data there and elsewhere. Where data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege administration, and we review these measures periodically. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data and presents a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

10. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact legal@atloren.com and we will delete it.
